for making insulting and provocative statements hurting the religious feelings of the Christian community.

Sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice that a news report has been published on the front page of the Hindu daily, published from Delhi today i.e.22nd April,2015 which is reproduced as under :
“NOT ILLEGAL: HINDU OUTFIT

-Mohammad Ali

Meerut: Days after a church in Agra was targeted,

The Hindu Mahasabha on Monday said attacking a church is not “illegal” and “violates no law.”

“The Narendra Modi-led NDA government should award and provide legal and administrative protection to Hindus who attack churches across the country. Churches are no longer places of worship but factories for conversion of Hindus into Christianity, “said Munna Kumar Shukla, General Secretary of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha.

Mr. Shukla said the outfit would give awards and protection for Hindu youths who attack churches and marry Muslim girls. He also said the Taj Mahal was a Shiva temple and not a mausoleum and would meet the same fate as the Babri Masjid.”

The aforesaid statements made by Mr. Shukla are clearly insulting, provocative, offensive and have been made with deliberate and malicious intention of outraging the religious feelings of the Christian community. The maker of the above statements are liable to be prosecuted under section 153-A and 295-A of the Indian Penal Code.
