CPI Fields C Mahendran for June 27 RK Nagar Bypoll
CHENNAI: The CPI on Friday announced its State deputy secretary C Mahendran as the candidate for the Radhakrishnan Nagar bypoll after hours of deliberations by administrative committee here.
CPI State secretary R Mutharasan said it was the democratic duty of political parties to contest elections and the party had decided to field a candidate in the bypoll.
