Does Rajnath Singh not want Modi to become a national leader?

This is what BJP president Rajnath Singh said about Amit Shah's work as a pawn of his Saheb. PTI reported it and I have taken the liberty of quoting him verbatim .I am sure Rajnath Singh ji ,like many civilized Indians, can not imagine what all a Fascist can do?

“There is no question of doing a rethink on our Prime Ministerial candidate even if a thousand baseless allegations of this kind are made against Narendra Modi.We had already said much earlier that we apprehend that the dirty tricks wing of the Congress will make such baseless allegations against Modi as the elections draw near.”

It seems Rajnath Singh does not want Modi to become a national leader and by mentioning him in the statement ,although the identity of Saheb is not mentioned in the Amit Shah tapes , he has ensured that the attention of the middle class is always focused on the deeds of Narendra Modi and his henchmen in Gujrat.
