Kerala minister blames Arnab Goswami and Republic TV for Sabarimala controversy

New Delhi, 18 October. Finance Minister of Kerala, Member, Central Committee of Communist Party of India (Marxist) Thomas Isaac has said that famous anchor Arnab Goswami and Republic TV is god damn angry.

Thomas Isaac tweeted,

"Arnab and Republic is god damn angry- for right reasons, a rarity indeed. But remember how many times you abused Kerala as terrorist/ IS hub and no harm befell your reporters. But now that you happen to be on opposite side of real terrorists, you got it. We will book them, sure."

“The National Commission for Women and the Network of Women in Media took cognisance of the attack on women journalists while covering the events on Wednesday, the day the gates of the Sabarimala temple are scheduled to open. Women journalists were hit, heckled, and the cars they were travelling in destroyed. TNM’s Saritha Balan, Republic TV’s Pooja Prasanna, India Today’s Mausami Singh, CNN News18’s Radhika Ramaswamy and NDTV’s Sneha Koshy were either attacked or heckled. Reporter TV’s male reporter Rajeesh’s arm was fractured, and his cameraperson sustained injuries as well.”

Thomas Isaac tweeted

“I just saw interaction between Ms Shylaja Teacher and Arnab of Republic. Feel so proud of the way she dismissed his shouts. When once his studio called I responded that I considered them scum of Indian media and wouldn’t respond. His kins created the Sabarimala controversy.”

"In the introduction to the debate, Goswami called people who are criticising the Indian government in this regard, ‘anti-national’, ‘paid agents’ and ‘shameless’."
