ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আসার আগেই ঢাকায় আসলেন পশ্চিম বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দোপাধ্যায়। শনিবার আসছেন দেশটির প্রধানমন্ত্রী। আর এ সফর স্মরণীয় করে রাখতে ঢাকাকে সাজানো হয়েছে বর্ণিল সাজে।

বাংলাদেশর দুই অকৃতিম বন্ধুকে বরণ করে নিতে হযরাত শাহজালাল বিমান বন্দর থেকে শুরু করে সোনারগাঁও হোটেল, প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার ভাসভবন ‘গণভবন’ বঙ্গবন্ধু আর্ন্তজাতিক সম্মেলন কেন্দ্র, সাভার জাতীয় স্মৃতিসৌধ, ধানমণ্ডীর ৩২ নম্বর ঐতিহাসিক বঙ্গবন্ধুর বাসভবন, ঢাকেশ্বরী জাতীয় মন্দির, শ্রী শ্রী রামকৃষ্ন মিশন ইত্যাদি উল্লেখযোগ্য জায়গায় বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচিতে অংশ নেবেন তারা। এসব জায়গাকে ঘিরে সড়কের মাঝবরাবর, কোথাও সড়কের দুই পাশ ধরে বর্ণিল সাজ দেয়া হয়েছে।

দুই দেশের জাতীয় পতাকা, নানা ছন্দে লেখা ব্যানার, প্লাকার্ড ও ফেষ্টুন ছিমছাম ভাবে শোভা পাচ্ছে। প্লাকার্ড শোভায় বাড়তি মাত্রা দিয়েছে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার হাঁসিমাখা বদনছবি। ছবি আছে নোরেন্দ্র মোদীর নানাভঙ্গিমায়, আছে মমতা বন্দোপাধ্যায়ের হাস্যজ্জোল ছবিও। মোদীর কূটনৈতিক চোখ এড়াচ্ছে না দর্শকদের। বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রীসহ অতিথিদের যেসব ছবি পরিকল্পনা মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে সাঁটা হয়েছে সেসব অনেক ছবির চোখ সহজেই বলে দিচ্ছে তারা রাষ্ট্রনায়ক।

বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী, ভারতীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও পশ্চিমবাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে ঘিরে সাজানো ঢাকা নান্দনিক চেহারায় উদ্ভাসিত হচ্ছে। এযেন বিদ্রোহী কবী কাজী নজরুলের সেই কবিতার কথাই মনে করিয়ে দিচ্ছে। ‘একি অপরূপ রূপে মা তোমায় হেরেনু পল্লী জননী’।
