It’s important to maintain a sensitive but sharp tone, focusing on how Taslima is caught between ideological extremisms—Islamic fundamentalism in Bangladesh and Hindu majoritarianism in India. She's not just a writer, but a symbol of the betrayal of secular promises by both state and media.

Taslima Nasreen writes a personal letter to Hasina with every drop of her blood, but the Indian media makes her stand with RSS!

Taslima Nasreen writes a letter to the Bangladesh Prime Minister, she tags it a personal letter, and then she posts it on her Facebook timeline. I am very worried that a writer like Taslima is nearly blacked out by Bengali media and Bengali literature. It is a personal shock for the fundamentalists that succeeded in banning her and for their crusade against a lonely woman, Taslima lands in eternal exile. The Letter is written with her blood, and I may feel her mind and soul in every line that she might have written with all the blood running in her body.

Taslima Nasreen has written in detail about her plight since the Fatwa was declared against her in Bangladesh, and she had no escape route in Bangladesh and had to eject herself out of her home, which she loves more than any man or woman on this earth, and her writing is all about this.

I have not to complaints about religious nationalism and ruling racial hegemonies across the political borders in this holocaust inflicted bleeding geopolitics just because of religious identities.

But I am shocked to see how the Indian media misuses her quotes to justify the RSS Hindu Imperialist campaign against humanity and nature. I am more shocked that the outbursts of her mind and soul have no place in media or literature and we all are trying to extend her exile worsening her plight and hell is losing against it’s a friend I am not only worried but helplessness, I am ashamed of Indian media which loves to abuse and misuse a woman with goldmine in her heart and mind as I have been a part and parcel of this bloody media for no less than four full decades and on my retirement I would not be proud of this miserable status and my low tune profile.

I know that Taslima is rather very impulsive, and she has no content strategy as every writer of her status should have. She should be rather aware of the game, which makes her the most unwanted personality in a nation like Bangladesh, created with linguistic nationalism, the singular one, but ironically hijacked by pro-Pakistan Islamist groups.

In a situation where the secular and democratic Bangladesh wants her back home, Taslima is projected to be standing with the RSS.

I am afraid, though most justified is her writing and every line which she has written in this letter is truth, but the stance she has taken justifying the RSS conversion campaign leaves no space for Hasina to consider the content.

जागरण न्यूज नेटवर्क, नई दिल्ली। धर्मातरण विवाद में जानी-मानी लेखिका तसलीमा नसरीन ने भी दखल देते हुए कहा है कि अगर गरीब मुस्लिम पैसे और भोजन के लिए हिंदू धर्म ग्रहण करना चाहते हैं तो उन्हें ऐसा करने दिया जाए। गरीब हिंदू भी इसी कारण इस्लाम और ईसाइयत को अपनाते हैं। दरअसल मजहब बिकता है। अपने बेबाक लेखन के कारण कट्टरपंथियों के निशाने पर रहने वालीं तसलीमा ने ट्वीट के जरिये यह भी कहा है कि इस्लाम में जबरन धर्मातरण की मनाही है। बाद में ऐसा होने लगा। जबरन धर्मातरण न होता तो आज इस्लाम अस्तित्व में नहीं होता।

तसलीमा ने जबरन धर्मातरण का विरोध करते हुए कहा है कि वह हिंदुओं के धर्मातरण के लिए मुस्लिम और ईसाइयों को दोषी ठहराती रही हैं और यही कारण है कि जब हिंदू भी ऐसा करते हैं तो उन्हें बुरा लगता है। उनके मुताबिक उपासना पद्धति के चयन की स्वतंत्रता होनी चाहिए। लोगों को हिंदू, मुस्लिम, ईसाई, यहूदी या फिर नास्तिक बनने की छूट मिलनी चाहिए। तसलीमा ने अपने पूर्वजों को मूर्तिपूजक बताते हुए कहा कि वे हिंदू से मुसलमान बने।
