Some diplomacy involved?
Is it an exercise to control cash flow as the latest global order is shaping in tonight?
Is it only coincidence that the bold step is taken while America elects the new President and it might create tsunami in dices and currencies as well?
We do not know the answer why the privatized RBI seems to be bypassed or what arrangement Indian banking system has already met to address to the sudden cash crunch.
Would be writing after reading the fine prints and understanding the political, strategical and economic implications. But RBI is sidelined, it seems something fishy and meeting with army, air force and navy bosses before this declaration makes it quite a puzzle.
