यह नाम अगर डॉ आंबेडकर या शिवाजी महाराज का होता इसे मिटाना संभव होता ?
मुंगली OCM कोल इंडिया लि. की अनुषांगिक इकाई वेस्टर्न कोलफ़ील्ड्स लिमिटेड के वणी क्षेत्र की एक विशाल कोयला खदान है, जिसकी उत्पादन क्षमता 40 लाख टन प्रति वर्ष है। यह कोयला खदान महाराष्ट्र के यवतमाल ज़िला की वणी तहसील में स्थित है। खदान की जन-शक्ति अर्थात यहाँ कार्यरत लोगों की संख्या 798 है, जिन में मुस्लिम समुदाय के मात्र 13 लोग हैं। खदान में कार्यरत लोगों के रहने के लिए कैलाशनगर नामक कॉलोनी खदान से थोड़ी दूरी पर मौजूद है। इस कॉलोनी में कुल 458 क्वार्टर हैं, जिनमें मुस्लिम समुदाय के मात्र 08 परिवार रहते हैं।
वर्ष 2007 के जुलाई महीने में कैलाशनगर कॉलोनी में स्थित स्टेडियम का सौंदर्यीकरण करवाते समय मुख्य खनन् अभियंता जितेन्द्र तिवारी ने की, सिविल विभाग के अध्यक्षवी.के.राय से मशवरा करके स्टेडियम के मुख्य द्वार पर ए.पी.जे.अब्दुलकलाम स्टेडियम लिखवा दिया। उनके इस क़दम का विधायक स्तर पर विरोध करवाया गया।
विरोध करने वालोंका सरग़ना सी.एस.मिश्रा नामक एक कामगार नेता था। उस ने मुंगोलि खदान के सभी स्थानीय नेताओं को यह कह कर भड़काया कि तिवारी साहेब ने नेताओं से परामर्श किये बिना ही स्टेडियम का नामकरण कर दिया। मिश्रा को अंदरूनी तौर पर कार्मिक प्रबंधक मल्लिकार्जुन राव भी शह दे रहा था। किन्तु श्री तिवारी ने सभों को नियंत्रित कर लिया। लगभग तीन माह बाद जब इस स्टेडियम में 14 अक्टूबर को अंतर इकाई फुटबॉल मैच होने वाला था और श्री तिवारी कोई केस अटेंड करने के लिए शहडोल गए हुए थे।
मिश्रा ने स्थानीय नेताओं के साथ मिलकर फिर माहौल बनाया कि अगर स्टेडियम के मुख्य द्वार से अब्दुल कलाम का नाम हटाया नहीं गया तो वहाँ कोई भी मैच नहीं होने दिया जायेगा।
कार्मिक प्रबंधक ने श्री तिवारी को फ़ोन पर बताया कि स्थिति गंभीर है और स्टेडियम के मुख्य द्वार से देश के सबसे लोकप्रिय राष्ट्रपति डॉ.ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम का नाम 12 अक्टूबर, 2007 की शाम में मिटा दियागया। 13 अक्टूबर को ईद थी !!!
इस घटना से मैं काफी आहत हुआ और अपने साथी अल्ताफ़ खान के साथ मिल कर इस घटना के ख़िलाफ़ अपनी आवाज़ बुलंद की और इसकी जानकारी WCL के शीर्षस्थ श्रमिक नेताओं के अतिरिक्त WCL के CMD तक भी पहुँचवाई। यवतमाल ज़िला पुलिस और प्रशासन तक भी बात गयी। लेकिन कहीं से कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। झारखण्ड कोलियरी मज़दूर यूनियन के नेता बृजबिहारी सिंह ने भी CMD को पत्र लिखा और साप्ताहिक विदर्भ चंडिका में समाचार भी प्रकाशित हुआ, लेकिन कहीं से कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई।
तब से ले कर आज तक मेरे दिलो-दिमाग़ में यही प्रश्न गूंजता है कि "क्या यह नाम अगर डॉ आंबेडकर या शिवाजी महाराज का होता इसे मिटाना संभव होता ?

नोट :- 1. मुख्य खनन् अभियंता श्री जितेन्द्र तिवारी का तबादला हो चुका है और वह इन दिनों सीसीएल, रांची में महाप्रबंधक हैं। श्री वी.के.राय का तबादला मुख्य प्रबन्धक (सिविल) की हैसियत से एमसीएल, उड़ीसा हो गया है। घटना के समय मुंगली OCM के खान-प्रबन्धक मोहम्मद साबिर थे। वह खामोश तमाशाई बने रहे !!!
2. डॉ.ए.पी.जे.अब्दुलकलाम के देहांत के पश्चात ग़ुलाम क़ादिर साहेब ने फ़ेसबुक पर इस घटना की याद ताज़ा कर दी जिसे मैं उनकी पोस्ट से लेकर पेस्ट कर रहा हूँ। ग़ुलाम क़ादिर साहेब इस घटना के समय मुंगोली ओसीएम में अधीक्षण अभियंता ( विद्युत एंव यान्त्रिकी ) के पद पर कार्यरत थे। लगभग 04 वर्षों पूर्व उनका भी तबादला हो चुका है ।

Seconded the proposal ,and finaly ahoarding was erected, " A P J Kalam stadium"With in hour objected , why Kalam, why not Ambedker,Shivaji,but sub area manager, who was great admirer of Kalam sb , argued,there is only two living legend,one ABVajpai and the othr is APJ,in the name of ABVajpai, there are number of project, let us name it for APJ.but all efforts futile, and finaly the name of APJKAlam erased and now it is Kailashnagar stadium.on that day , felt dejected,humaliated and it cotinued till yesterday. When the news of sad demise of Bharat poured in. And found entire nation is in grief, unlimted tribute, pain, tears..... Oh my GOD.... I was totally wrong. ,... You cant confined such a legendry to a stadium , He need not to enscribe his name on wall, who already written LOVE on the hearts of entire nation....... Salam. .sir.

Mohammad Khursheed Akram Soz You may recall that I along with Mohammad Altaf Khan raised voice against erasing the name of Muhtaram APJ Kalam from the Main Gate of the stadium, I brought this incident into the knowledge of veteran union leaders like Mr. Deshkar, Mr.S.Q.Zaman and (Late) Vidya Sagar Chaudhary in addition to this CMD of WCL and the local authorities were also informed but nobody took the matter seriously. The master mind of this communal act was a local union leader C S Mishra. .................

Gopal Krishna Sharma Soz, saheb, meri ek request hai ki aap har samay har chij ko dharam ke aaine se na dekhe, anytha taklif aayegi. Main ek hindu hun par bahut sari baaten mere dharam ya jati ki nahi hoto hai. Gulam quadir mera college ka dost hai, usae mere bare me puchha lijiyega.
