नई दिल्ली। आईसा की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सुचेता डे के भाषण का एक वीडियो यू ट्यूब पर धूम मचा रहा है। इस भाषण में सुचेता डे नेशन वान्ट्स टू नो के जुमले से पुकारे जाने वाले एंकर अर्णव गोस्वामी, ज़ी न्यूज़ के संपादक सुधीर चौधरी पर टिप्पणी करती सुनाई पड़ती हैं। इस वीडियो को AISA के एकाउंट से यू ट्यूब पर अपलोड किया गया है। सुचेता कह रहबी हैं- गोडसे की औलादों भगत सिंह-चंद्रशेखर की औलादों को देशभक्ति मत सिखाओ।

There is a difference between reporting and inciting!! We have already witnessed how some media houses have been actively and openly inciting violence against JNU students and teachers. I just witnessed another harrowing example of the same today. Since day time, the NewsX channel had been calling me regularly to come for one of their discussions. I had been told that there would be a discussion on #SeditionLaw and that the chief editor would be present during the discussion. When I told the editor how some hashtags, tweets and headlines run by them were hugely biased and inciting violence against JNU, he got angry and claimed that they were based on facts. Considering that he had already presumed them to be facts, it was evident that there was no scope of an unbiased discussion!! I refused to participate in the show where conclusion had already been arrived at and he threatened that they would now run hashtags against me!!! Such open threats in name of journalism exposes the role being played by the media!! Far from fair reporting, channels like these are blatantly using their platform to harass and threaten students and propagate lies!! They are least interested in finding the truth!! #StopMaligningJNU #LiesMustStop

Com. Sucheta De on the idea that is JNU !!
A very powerful speech by AISA President Sucheta. Talking of what #JNU means for the sons and daughters of poor and oppressed people, who come to the campus to find freedom, and whom JNU embraces and turns into campus leaders, academics.
She talks of JNUSU President Kanhaiyya, whose mother is an anganwadi worker, JNUSU GS Rama who is from a poor Dalit home in Koraput, and of JNU's women students who find freedom and equality in JNU.
From #RohithVemula to Kanhaiyya Kumar and Rama Naga, they want to brand dissenting students as anti national. It's no coincidence that of the 8 students JNU has debarred from academic activity, most of whom face sedition charges, most are Dalit or Bahujan, including the present SL Convenor Shweta Raj, the ex JNUSU President Ashutosh and ex JNUSU VP Anant.
