नहीं रहे आउटलुक के संस्थापक संपादक विनोद मेहता
नई दिल्ली। वरिष्ठ पत्रकार विनोद मेहता अब हमारे बीच नहीं रहे वह आउटलुक पत्रिका के संस्थापक व मुख्य संपादक थे। 73 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान दिल्ली में अंतिम सांस ली।
इंडिया टुडे से अपने करियर की शुरुआत करने वाले विनोद मेहता ने ना केवल आउटलुक बल्कि संडे ऑब्जर्वर, द पायनियर जैसे पत्र-पत्रिकाओं के साथ भी काम किया था। उन्होंने कई किताबें भी लिखी हैं। साथ ही वह पत्रकारों की संस्था एडिटर्स गिल्ड के भी अध्यक्ष रहे थे।
विनोद मेहता को पत्रकारिता जगत में एक बोल्ड फिगर के रूप में जाना जाता था। वह न्यूज चैनलों में बतौर पैनलिस्ट बहुत बेबाकी से अपनी राय रखते थे। विनोद मेहता के निधन से पत्रकारिता जगत में शोक का माहौल है।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी उनके निधन पर शोक जताया है। मोदी ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, 'स्पष्ट और सीधे विचारों वाले विनोद मेहता एक शानदार पत्रकार और लेखक के रूप में याद किए जाएंगे। उनके निधन पर उनके परिवार के प्रति संवेदना।'
