भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ संसद के समक्ष १०० घंटे की " छात्र - युवा मोर्चेबंदी" में ९ अगस्त दिल्ली चलो..
Beginning on 9 August, anniversary of the Quit India movement, the ongoing campaign will culminate in a Student-Youth Barricade at Parliament Against Corruption, For Democracy.
Thousands of students and youth from across the country will gather at Jantar Mantar, joined by activists of people’s movements and democratic voices, to demand:
That the Government withdraw its toothless Lokpal draft and table a genuine, effective draft in Parliament, which includes effective safeguards to protect grassroots anti corruption activists from intimidation and violence
Reversal of the current policy regime of privatization, which is the single largest source of corruption today
Immediate measures to block off the routes of black money outflow, and to ensure the return of black money to the country’s coffers; make public the names of those with offshore black money accounts
Scrapping of draconian laws, in particular the laws of colonial provenance such as Sedition and AFSPA
We request you to do all you can to support this initiative of students and youth in challenging corruption and corporate plunder and defending democracy, and we appeal to you to join us at the ‘Student-Youth Barricades’ on 9 August at Parliament Street.
