नई दिल्ली: मीडिया के हितों के लिए संघर्ष करने वाला संगठन 'प्रेस फ्रीडम (पीएफ) ' देश भर में पत्रकारों पर बढ़ते हमलों के खिलाफ, जून 18 को एक राष्ट्रव्यापी काला दिवस आयोजित करेगा।.
यह जानकारी देते हुए वरिष्ठ पत्रकार और प्रेस फ्रीडम के संयोजक अजय कुमार पांडे, ने कहा, "मंच ने पत्रकार डे के शोक संतप्त परिवार के लिए मुआवजे के रूप में एक करोड़ रुपये की मांग की है।"
उन्होंने बताया कि संगठन की यह भी मांग है, कि जो पत्रकार, खतरे का सामना कर रहे हैं उनके लिए अनिवार्य सत्यापन के बिना बंदूक लाइसेंस दिया जाए। प्रेस फ्रीडम, ने उन अन्य सभी पत्रकारों के एक परिजन को, जिनकी सभी हाल ही में हत्या कर दी गई है, नौकरी की मांग की है, उनमें दैनिक भास्कर बिलासपुर के पत्रकार सुशील पाठक और नई दुनिया, रायपुर के पत्रकार उमेश राजपूत के परिवार शामिल हैं।
18 जून को, पीएफ प्रत्येक और हर देश में जिला मुख्यालय पर देश भर में काला दिवस और धरना का आयोजन करेगा.
दिल्ली में, भी पीएफ अपनी मांगों के समर्थन में जंतर मंतर पर एक दिवसीय उपवास का आयोजन करेगा.
18 जून को सभी पत्रकार जंतर मंतर पर इकट्ठा होकर इस नृशंस कृत्य के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करेंगे और अपना गुस्सा व्यक्त करने काले फीते बांधेंगे और और दिन भर उपवास रखेंगे. श्री पांडे के मुताबिक, प्रेस फ्रीडम ने इस कार्यक्रम के विषय में अतिरिक्त पुलिस आयुक्त, नई दिल्ली जिला, को सूचित कर दिया है।
उन्होंने सभी पत्रकारों से जंतर मंतर पर इकट्ठा होकर धरना और प्रदर्शन में भाग लेने की मांग की। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रेस फ्रीडम बिजनेस स्टैंडर्ड, दिल्ली के पूर्व पत्रकार और आईएएस परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे कपिल शर्मा की अवैध हिरासत और यातना के मामले को भी पूरी शिद्दत के साथ सरकार के सामने उठाएण्गा।. शर्मा को 11 और 12 जून 2011 की आधी दिल्ली पुलिस ने थर्ड डिग्री प्रयोग करते हुए यातना दी थी।

New Delhi: ‘Press Freedom (PF)’, a combat arm of media, will organise a nationwide Black Day on 18th of June to lodge protest against rising attacks on journalists all over the country.
Giving this information, Ajay Kumar Pandey, Sr. Journalist and Convener of Press Freedom, said “the forum demanded one crore rupees as compensation for the family of bereaved journalist Dey”.
It also demands, gun license for journalists, who are facing threat, without mandatory verification. PF, also demands job for the family members of Dey and other journalists who all were murdered in recent past, which include Shusil Pathak, Dainik Bhaskar, Bilaspur, and Umesh Rajput, Nai Duniya, Raipur.
It was also decided that on 18th June, PF will organize a countrywide Black Day and dharnas at each and every district headquarters in the country.
In Delhi, the PF will organize a day long fast at Jantar Mantar to press for its demands.
On 18th of June all journalists will assemble at Jantar Mantar to demonstrate against this brutal act. To express their anger they will also tie black ribbon and will keep a day long fast. According to Mr Pandey, the forum has informed the Additional Commissioner of Police, New Delhi district, regarding this fast and demonstration.
He appeals all journalists to assemble at Jantar Mantar and participate in fast, dharna and demonstration. The forum would also take up the case of torture and illegal detention of Kapil Sharma, journalist of Business Standard, Delhi and an IAS aspirant, by Delhi Police. Sharma was forced to third degree torture on intervening night of 11 & 12 June 2011.
