Before landing in UP jail for her fight for the displaced and killed indigenous demography in Robertsganj in UP, Roma was in our constant touch and we were engaged in attempt to sustain public hearing for the displaced, deprived and killed masses. But UP police snatched her mobile and she had been out of contact even after she was bailed out. I was stunned or this communication gap and had been annoyed with the courageous lady.

Suddenly Roma was in Kolkata and she invited me to join her in a press conference in Kolkata Press Club.

I could not oblige.

But we had a talk after a long time and came to know that she has got a tumour in her brain ad has to undergo surgical operation.

I wish her get well as soon as possible and continue the fight. But I am worried for her as my dearest ones had undergone such complicated surgeries and I had been witness.

For example, Sabita had a tumour right into her heart and Dr.Devi Shetty ejected it out of her heart immediately as he diagnosed.

Dr.Devi Shetty did not waste time and Sabita is surviving even after twenty one years full of energy. I hope ,it should be the same thing despite the risk involved and I also expect her to stand with us to sustain public hearing on alternative media with all of her friends.
