The Socialist Yuvjan Sabha (SYS), which stood 3rd last year, has fielded three candidates for the present DUSU elections. Its candidates are : Nikhil Pandey (ballot no. 10) for President, Vishnu (ballot no. 17) for Secretary and Vivek Kumar Jaiswal (ballot no. 10) for Joint Secretary. The candidates are young, energetic youth with a progressive, democratic and secular outlook. They are committed to a transformative and constructive students’ politics and firmly believe in the mode of non-violence. As the manifesto reflects clearly, the organisation is inspired by the ideals of J.P., Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Sardar Bhagat Singh. It pledges to raise a decisive voice against the onslaught of neo-liberalism on education. The SYS has been fighting relentlessly against the imposition of the FYUP.

We, the undersigned, appeal to the student community of Delhi University to vote and support the panel of SYS in the coming DUSU elections. The manifesto of SYS for the DUSU elections is attached with the appeal.
