Arrests of 5 rights activists - Arundhati Roy & Prashant Bhushan will address a press conference today

New Delhi, 30 August. In the wake of the recent shocking spate of arbitrary arrests of 5 rights activists and under the draconian UAPA, and raids on the premises of 5 others by the Maharashtra Police on 28 August 2018, PUDR, PUCL and WSS are organising a press conference today at press club Delhi at 4p.m.

The conference will be addressed by Aruna Roy- MKSS, Arundhati Roy- author, Bezwada Wilson- Safai Karamchari Andolan, Harish Dhawan- PUDR, Kalyani Menon-Sen- WSS, N. D. Pancholi- PUCL, Prashant Bhushan - Advocate and Sanjay Parikh- PUCL.
