Babri Masjid Stalemate: Aftermath of Hasim Ansari’s Unwarranted Sensational Statement
Babri Masjid Stalemate: Aftermath of Hasim Ansari’s Unwarranted Sensational Statement
Regarding the Babri Masjid latest turn of the events the sensation created by veteran Pairokar / Mutwalli of the Babri Masjid (Mohtaram Hashim Ansari Sb) who is closer to century. No doubt his services and sacrifice should be honored but having turned too old to the extent near senile stage and mental weakness. He should have been honorably exited from such responsibility to tackle such a vital and sensitive agenda.
While I was Chief Executive Officer of UP Sunni Central Waqf Board (August 2012 to Feb 2013) under which the famed property belongs, I had a plan to replace too old and senile care takers / Mutwalli of the prime Waqf properties who might be misguided / mislead due to their loss of mental potency and intellectual alertness.
Had this step been taken up much earlier, such would have not been the situation out of unwanted sensation. Mr Hashim Ansari's statement is quite motivated, emotional and heavily backed rather sponsored by a strong think tank and well knit coterie. Legal luminaries, social activists as well as religious clerics will out rightly ignore his emotional offer.
Moreover he is not the owner /sole authority to decide or influence such a vital and sensitive matter. It is quite evident that days for UP administration and peaceful poor citizens of UP (especially Muslims) are very tough and vulnerable as of political strategies being adopted for grabbing the power by mighty and crazy politicians defying the social / democratic fabric of the constitution. Let us observe restrain with patience, foresightedness and following fully the legal / democratic process by keeping absolute faith in judiciary (Hon’ble Supreme Court of India) instead of emotional and hypothetical slogans / presumptions.
Good luck, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.
