Korba(Chhattisgarh). As per the countrywide call of left parties, the left parties and their mass organisations jointly with other democratic organisations held demonstrations on 24th Februasry, 2016, at Dr.Bhim Rao Ambedkar open air theatre, Ghantagar, Korba(Chhattisgarh) in support of the struggling JNU students and condemning the fascist attacks on the students and teachers by the RSS-BJP combine.
The demonstrators raised slogans against the motivated arrests of Kanhaiya Kumar, the president of JNU Students' union and other students leaders on the concocted charge of sedition by the Delhi police at the behest of the BJP(RSS) led central government.
A memorandum signed by all organisations was sent to the President of India in this behalf.
