New Delhi. Founder and President of Litigants Welfare Forum, Bombay, Dr. Leo Rebello has again opposed Justice Mohit Shah’s elevation to the Supreme Court of India.
Dr. Leo Rebello has written a letter to President of India & Vice President of India in this regard by E-mail. Unedited letter is as follows-
“On Bar & Bench Adv. Dushyant Dave, President of the Bar Association of India wrote two copious letters (3rd & 11th Feb 2015) addressed to the Chief Justice. Read them at

I went a step ahead and as the President of Litigants Welfare Forum (since 1990) wrote a foolproof letter and sent it to the President of India, Chief Justice of India and other constitutional functionaries for their due diligence. See my full letter at http://www.hastakshep.com/oldenglish/news-1/nation-news-1/2015/02/15/no-mr-justice-mohit-shahs-elevation-supreme-court-india.
Ex CJI Sarosh Kapadia had said that "Corrupt Judges should be named publicly". That is exactly what Dushyant Dave and I have done. If Dinakaran, J could be compelled to resign, why Mohit Shah who favoured Essar in Rs.10,000 Crore scam cannot and should not be removed?
Similarly, changing Trial Judges in defiance of the Supreme Court's clear direction is highly improper. Infact it amounts to Criminal Contempt of Court. And Mohit Shah trying to save Cousin Amit Shah (if that charge is true) is an offense u/s 219 of the IPC - Public servant in judicial proceeding corruptly making report, etc. contrary to law.
Remember, "Vox Populi is Vox Dei". Dr. Leo Rebello”
