Divya Khosla Kumar who was present at ‘Indulge for Smile’ charity event on Saturday spoke about nepotism and the incident at IIFA, she said I support Kangana.
Karan Johar, Saif Ali khan, and Varun Dhawan at IIFA had made fun of Kangana Ranaut and her opinion about nepotism, when asked about the same Divya said, “I support Kangana.I think it was very wrong for the three of them to joke about her. It’s a shame and it shows that there is still gender inequality in the industry and I definitely don’t support it.”
The 3 actors, Karan Johar, Saif Ali khan, and Varun Dhawan expressed their regret and apologized for the act at IIFA in their own ways.
The actor and director also spoke about the noise pollution controversy, she said, “I do not support noise pollution. I would just like to say that religion shouldn’t be enforced; we respect all religions and all cultures. I remember when I was a kid there was a similar incident in our society. When I used to study I used to face a lot of problems due to the temple bells. I am a Hindu myself, but it difficult to study in that environment.”
When asked if she is working on any new projects, she said: “I am working on a new script which I won’t be announcing it right now, but I am working as a director for this new project.”
The former actress has directed, Yaariyan in 2014 and Sanam Re in 2016.Divya has also produced the film Roy in 2015.
