A forum of Activists and Victims of any sort of Injustice “Mission Justice” grieved the death of fifteen year old girl of Mahakalpada of Kendrapada district in Odisha, who was the victim of rape and murder. In between many people and people’s organisations have demonstrated over the issue and established that they won’t tolerate such an inhuman and terrible activity of human being. It is a National shame.
Founder of Mission Justice Tapan Padhi, said in a statement that our government, administration and police are engaged only in the post-mortem work. The system has drastically failed to provide security and safety to the common women more particularly the girl child. Our social system is being challenged by the uncivilized and inhuman criminals.
“In the mean time, Odisha government has announced a support of Rs10 lakhs to the family of the deceased. But to whom the money will benefit? Is it the justice for the child? With such monetary award, a family becomes millionaire and their mouth shut at the cost of an innocent girl child’s demise. The victim does not get any justice. This money is people’s hard earned money, this should not be miss utilised. Why the rapists’ family will enjoy at the people’s money? Why the entire property of the rapists will not be attached to the victim’s family?” said padhi.
Mission Justice demanded to attach all the properties of the criminals and donated to the victim’s family or be sold and the money realised be given to the victim’s family. Dismissal of complacent & inhuman Health Minister, Damodar Rout & Resignation of useless and incapable Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik.
