Firstly, Gopal Subramanium's name was removed from a panel of to be appointed judges despite Supreme Court Collegium clearing it. According to Gopal's allegation it was done on behest of Modi government and Supreme Court connived.

Secondly, few days after special CBI judge, JT Utpat at Mumbai pulled up Amit Shah for non-appearance in Tulsiram Prajapati fake encounter case, this judge was removed and sent to Pune.
