NPP Supremo calls on Central & State Govts. to attend urgent farmers-labourers problems in respective states

New Delhi, o1 October. Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party called on the Union Govt. & respective state governments to attend landless dalit farmers-labourers problems in their respective states relating to their day to day life problems—drinking water, dispensaries, animal husbandry clinics, schools etc. Prof.Bhim Singh heard dozen of farmers and labourers from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab and other places who presented a horrifying situation which the farmers and working class have been facing in the villages mentioned above.

Prof.Bhim Singh while addressing a rally held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi by the kissans-labourers assured that the Panthers Party shall take up the matter with the Union Govt. as well as with the respective state governments about the acute problems of the farmers, landless dalit farmers, helpless widows and other deprived sections in the rural areas who are living a miserable life in most inhuman conditions. NPP Supremo reminded the Central leaders to not to treat the human beings living in helpless conditions in the villages only as poll-fodder but as a human being who have right to decide the future of the leadership at appropriate elections. Prof.Bhim Singh also urged the Union Govt. to implement recommendations of Swaminathan Commission without any delay or change or dilution in the interest of the farmers of the country and farm labourers.

Prof.Bhim Singh also demanded that the payment of sugarcane farmers due from the government should be paid immediately as per provisions of Sugarcane Control Order, 1966 along with interest. He also demanded the high level probe into construction of toilets and houses all over the state of above mentioned states.

Others who addressed the agitating farmers-labourers included Mrs. Maya Singh, National President, BMKS, Ms. Sudesh Dogra, Political Secretary-NPP, Ms. Sunita Chaudhary, General-DPNPP, Ms. Rashmi Dutta, Social Activist and Mr. Ranjit Singh Chauhan, National Secretary of Bhartiya Mazdoor Kissan Sangathan and several others from Madhya Pradesh, U.P., Haryana.
