Opinion on Narendra Modi's achievement may vary, but not on his lowly conduct and pettiness. It was most embarrassing for us as Indians to watch our Prime Minister asking the Indian community in the U. S. for a 'certificate for his achievements' in India. No less embarrassing was his unabashedly declaring that recounting his achievements would take 'not less than a fortnight .'
His speeches about himself are nothing more than a drum-beating of a bragard, who, not satisfied with the propaganda of his drum beaters, has begun doing it himself.
It was equally embarrassing to watch him giving a clean chit to himself by announcing that no allegation of corruption has been made against him during the sixteen months of his rule. It immediately reminded the people that this man had made a similar claim for his government before his government and his party's State. Governments were disgraced by Lalitgate involving Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje, bloody Vyapam scandal presided over by Shivraj Singh Chauhan and 206 crore scandal enacted by Pankaja Munde of Maharashtra.
The whole world knows that if the law had been allowed to take its own course most of the Indian politicians including Modi would have been languishing in jail. The Americans must have been amused to our mortification because they do not consider him innocent and have not yet lifted the ban on the visa of Narendra Modi of the Gujarat riots notoriety. He is allowed to enter the U.S.only on the special visa issued to the P.M. Of a country.
In fact, if Modi had an iota of self-respect as a person and as the P.M. of this great country, he would have demanded the removal of the restriction on his visa before visiting the U.S., but Modiji feels so overwhelmed by the presence of the Heads of the governments of the developed countries that he forgets that he is the Prime Minister of a great country whose dignity he is compromising.
The crocodile tears he shed in the Silicon Valley while recounting that his mother had to sweep and swab other people's houses due to poverty exposed his hypocrisy.
When he ceased to be poor decades ago, he did not do what any caring son should have done immediately after the change in his fortune which was giving his mother as comfortable a life as he could afford .Obviously, he did not care for her enough to pay her the attention a mother who had toiled so hard for him deserved. She certainly deserved much more than his crocodile tears shed to make political capital by exploiting the emotion of his audience. His callousness is evident elsewhere also. He had been denying his marriage to Jasodaben (who was abandoned by him as was his mother ) till the 2014 Parliamentary elections.
He admitted his marriage to her for the first time in his nomination paper only in 2014 for fear that his election might be challenged for the concealment of his marital status.
The poor lady has now been provided security despite her objection. She fears the security personnel and has been running from the pillar to post to find out who ordered it. Her application under the RTI has yielded no result so far. It is well known that a forgotten and forsaken wife of a P.M. has no threat to her life for political reasons, yet she is kept under security.

The fact is that she has been kept under surveillance on the pretext of her security she does not need or want. She has been kept under constant watch to save Modiji from all possible harm by insulating his wife to prevent free access to her and leak of some damaging information about the P.M.Narendra Modi does not realise that that whenever he mentions his family in public in the West he reminds the people of those countries of his callousness as a husband .No person with his record can be elected in those countries to a public office.
Narendra Modi has nothing to recommend him as a laudable human being and should refrain from speaking of or in a manner which embarrasses India and Indians.
