Prof. Bhim Singh constitutes Accession Day Celebration Committee

Jammu. In a meeting of several intellectuals, journalists & hardcore political activists held under chairmanship of Prof. Bhim Singh, National Coordinator, J&K Accession – Day Celebration Committee it was resolved to pay homage to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji and hold heart to heart deliberations on the future direction of state polity, more so concerning Jammu Pradesh, which so far has remained discriminated in every field particularly in-equality in sharing of political and economic power.

The meeting resolved that it was only Maharaja Hari Singh, amongst all then political galaxies in Indian sub-continent, who faced mighty English as well as Indian leaders to save J&K from death & destruction, at the hands of Pakistani raiders and signed the Instrument of Accession with the Indian Union on 26th October which was accepted by the Govt. of India on 27th October, 1947.

In this connection an Executive Committee comprising of 39 members was constituted here today to celebrate the Accession Day on 27th October, 2018 at 10.30 am in Dogra Sadar Sabha near Civil Secretariat, Jammu. The Executive Committee members are:
