Seminar on Nehru organised by CORD and ARTHA
Lucknow. Academy of Research and Training for Humane Action(ARTHA) and Centre for Objective Research and Development (CORD) organised a symposium "Nehru ki rah,Aman ki rah,tarakki ki rah" at Jaishankar Prasad hall, Qaiserbagh,Lucknow.
Prof. BK Tiwari,Dean Faculty of Arts, LU presided the seminar and emphasised on the contribution of Nehru in nation building, Justice(retd)SHA Raza made the valedictory address and spoke on the Nehru legacy specially the pluralistic values.
Prof.Surendra Kumar, Director, GIDS gave the account on economic perspective of Nehru specially giving the middle path that is mixed economy in the times of capitalism and communism, Prof Rooprekha Verma emphasised on Nehru's contribution on gender issues in perspective of Hindu Code Bill.
Atul Tiwari, film script writer spelled on Nehru's contribution and its impact on Indian society.
Prof.Nadeem Hasnain, Anthropologist highlighted Nehru's humane character.
Prof Ramesh Dixit(ARTHA) introduced on the necessity of Nehru's thought in modern day world where once the third world nations looked upto him for leadership and Athar Husain(CORD) conducted the seminar.
