I wanted to read out some relevant parts of my Hindi diary on Lalgargh Operation,लालगढ़ रोजनामचा published in Akaar, अकार, edited by Giriraj Kishore the eminent gyanpeeth vijeta Gandhian writer. It was written and published in 2009.But the video was interrupted by load shedding without notice.
I opened the discussion with Lalgargh story while Shalboni mines blast created Janganer Samiti against police atrocities and Mamata Banerjee and her paribartan brigade openly supported it.
Just before Lalgarh operation, the equation changed and Mamata declared that she has no relations with Janganer samiti, Mahto or Maoist. In fact, the centre, the state and the leader of Nandi gram and singur movement stood united against Lalgarh people in a sudden turnaround to brand Lalgarh Maoist.
Kabir Suman tells the story in his famous Chhatradharer Gaan as Maoist leader Vikas claimed that the Maoist helped Singur and Nandi gram movement to make it successful for the change!
I had to deal with the landscape and humanscape and the social realism of repression absence of rule of law, equality, justice and democracy itself in a geography excluded from mainstream and persecuted all on the name of growth and development.
It is defined as Maoist menace and the situation is beyond control this date. I have included TV interview of Arundhati Roy who explains the problem better but it could not be completed.

We have to address the problem and have to understand the different humanscape with its history and legacy as the Adivasi people never have been enslaved in history. Midnapur legacy or jangal mahal legacy is all about resistance. In my earlier videos on Chuar rebellion and Hijli I tried to trace the missing links of history, without understanding we might not include this humanscape in mainstream and I am afraid that the menace would continue!
It is all about the Mahad Movement, emergence of Dr.BR Ambedkar and his agenda of annihilation of caste and no one else but our expert, the grand son in law and IIT Kharagpur professor Anand teltumbde explains the real mission of Babasaheb. Ananad's book on Mahad movement is on stalls and available for online purchase. It is very important to understand the history, partition, freedom explanation.
Since Jangal Mahal, Midnapur, Bankura and Purulia with Jharkhand, Bihar, UP, Orissa, MP, Maharashtra tribal geography has always been in resistance mode and so the different people in this mixed humanscape, I focused on Hijli along with Midnapur legacy of freedom and resistance!
Thus, I talked about Hijli concentration camp and the history of freedom struggle in Jangal Mahal and IIT Kharagpur! Which is related with the struggle of freedom by rural, indigenous, aborigine agrarian communities, Indian peasantry led by Negroid Adivasi, untouchables and Non Aryan Shudras. This link is missing in the history written hitherto. It is the history of the people, excluded, excommunicated, and subjected to persecution, displacement, execution, repression and demonization. It is the real history of India!
