The country witnessed Massive protest of farmers, edffigy of the PM Modi Was burnt by farmers

New Delhi. As per reports received at the AIKS Centre, protest actions against the killing of 6 farmers in police firing in M.P. and in support of long-standing demands were organized all over India by AIKS and other organizations. It was one of the widest protest actions of farmers held in the country in the near past years. The farmers burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivaraj Singh Chouhan and organized Road Blockades, Rail Blockades, Picketing collect orates and protest demonstrations across the country.
In Madhya Pradesh at Bhopal, the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Was burnt by farmers. National High way was blockd in Dabra, Gwalior. The AIKS state Secretary Ram Narayan kureria and around a hundred farmers were arrested in Rewa. There was road blocking and arrest at Kailaras, Morena district and Gohad in Bhind District. Farmers organized a protest march at Neemach.
In Hisar hundred of AIKS members supported by other mass organisations sat on the national highway going to Rajgarh (Rajasthan) for 3 hours. Here Sh. Dushyant Chautala an INLD Member of Parliament also visited the protesters and addressed them. In Fatehabad main highway in front of the mini secretariat was blocked for more than two hours. In Bhiwani, AIKS workers blocked the road at points in Bhiwani and village Issarwal. At Jind AIKS with Kisan Sangharsh Samiti blocked the road at village Danoda . Protest demonstrations were held in Sirsa, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Karnal, Kaithal, Palwal, Yamuna Nagar and Gurgaon. BKU (Gurnam Singh group) also observed Rasta Roko in Ambala and Kurukshetra.
Thousands of farmers participated in the roadblock at Sikkar Rajasthan and picketed the collectorate. AIKS president Amra Ram inaugurated. The road blockade was reported from Sriganganagar, Churu, Bikaner and Jaipur.
In Kerala, a road blockade was reported from all the districts. State secretary K V Ramakrishnan participated in Palakkad. All India Treasurer of AIKS P Krishnaprasad inaugurated the strike at Kalpetta, Wayanad District.
Protest actions were organized in all states of the country. More information is awaited from various parts of the country.
AIKS congratulated the peasants who participated massively in the protest march against the Mandsaur Killing of farmers and for accomplishing the genuine demands of the peasantry. The member organizations of Bhoomi Adhikar Andolan have organized the struggle with all other farmers and agriculture worker organizations. The CITU activists have participated in the struggle and extended solidarity all over the country. The joint struggle needs to be continued till all the demands are achieved.
