New Delhi. #CPIM General Secretary Com. Sitaram Yechury was speaking on the ocassion of #DalitSansad called by Dalit Shoshan Mukti Manch in New Delhi.
The DSMM has demanded the special session or Parliament to discuss the issues faced by Dalit Community.
On 19th September, 2015 a national seminar was organised by the DSMM and dalit sansad held today at Jantar-Mantar, New Delhi.
Addressing Dalit Sansad, Com. Sitaram Yechury said to end the social exploitation of Dalits their economic empowerment should be ensured. Social & economical exploitation are two faces of the same coin. India will have to take this challenge overcome the social inequality & the Red Flag will always stand by the struggles of Dalits. #CPIM always appreciated the work done by Dalit Icons like Dr. Bheemrao Ambedkar and others. We are celebrating the 125th anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar and whole nation is paying tribute to this Dalit legend. The real to this great soul would be to call special session of parliament to discuss the real issues faced by this community and find out ways to resolve age old issues., said he. Narendra Modi Govt promised "Achhe Din' for Dalits, But have shown least interest to their cause.
