I am ashamed to see Matua Maata, Bina Pani Devi aged over nineties being prompted to disown her own younger son and declaring her support to Mamata Bala Thakur, the TMC candidate from Bangao and she said that she had to stand with Mamata bala. I am ashamed for the helpless mother and the legacy of Harichand Thakur and Guruchand Thakur completely degenerated and disintegrated which resisted East India Company, united Bahujan Samaj in united Bengal and initiated real renaissance right in early eighteenth century.

Bina Pani Devi along with her son Kapil Krishna Thakur visited our home in Naintal Tarai at Basantipur in sixties while I was a child and late Kapil Krishna Thakur remembered this as his father PR Thakur also did respect his cousin's relation. Against this backdrop Boroma’ support to TMC candidate will give some air of relief to the party. Before the thousands of supporters Baroma said her blessings are with Mamata Bala Thakur.
I am ashamed that the Matua Family has betrayed the movement which saw Baba Saheb DR BR Ambedkar in the constitution draft committee and for which we utter the words like equality and social justice. We have not seen him in public. Now, the ex-joint CBI director is pitted against CBI to defend all ministers, MPs and Political leaders and icons alleged to be involved in Sardha scam and some of them have been in Jail, some are waiting to go behind the bars.
What about the refugees? What about the citizenship of Partition victim Hindu Refugees, the potential Vote bank?
I have no to comment. The refugee leaders are posting their photos with all kinds of politician ,national and local. Then, it the refugee movement at last.

Earlier, the community had sided with the Left. Against this backdrop, today's development ... Thakurnagar in North 24-Parganas became the headquarters of the Namasudra refugees from Bangladesh. The Namasudras were also settled in Dandakaranya in Chhattisgarh and the Andaman, all over central India, resettled under Dandakaranya project, Uttarakhand and UP, MP and Maharashtra, Tamilnadu and Karnataka, Bihar and Assam, Rajasthan and Andhra.
