Comrade Sitaram Yechury has been elected by the Central Committee as the new General Secretary of the CPI (M). At the meeting of the new Central Committee, Prakash Karat suggested the name of Sitaram Yechury, and S. Ramachandran Pillai seconded. The proposal was approved unanimously by the Central Committee
Comrade Yechuri is the first General Secretary after Comrade PC Joshi, who despite belonging to Andhra may speak Hindi very fluently. I dare to speak that CPIM has been missing the opportunity to address the masses because every GS chose English to communicate. The huge communication gap should be wiped, we should hope for the better.
Comrade Yechury knows the ground reality better than us as he has been in the Party Polit Bureau for long and should have the constant flow of grass root level feedback.
It is better for Bengal as the new comrade GS represented Bengal in Rajya Sabha.
It is not the Party; comrade GS, as a Nation, we the people face the challenges of survival as a free, sovereign and democratic country. Since 1991, the monopolistic aggression against Indian Nation is continued and ethnic cleansing hegemony has taken over the helms of the nation which is reduced to a joint periphery of US imperialism and Zionist Israel while the entire economy of India has been converted into a casino captured by Capitalism aligned with Hindu Imperialism.

The rural agrarian India faces an unprecedented displacement drive while FDI Raj has declared the agenda of total privatization, total disinvestment, and total deregulation, total decontrol turning into selected depopulation agenda meaning ethnic cleansing which is all about this Hindu Imperialism.
