Why J&K ex-rulers are dying for 35-A? They want to rule again as blood suckers

New Delhi/ Jammu, 17 September.

“This is nothing new for the people of J&K to receive threatening messages from two ex-Chief Ministers of J&K threatening the entire nation even the Supreme Court of India to allow the two-way sword to remain in their hands as the rulers of the state so that they could use it against the innocent people to continue their corrupt rule as they have demonstrated for decades in J&K.”

Article 370 : a temporary provision

Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of National Panthers Party, conveyed this message to the Parliament of India to, at least, implement the Instrument of Accession that J&K ruler, Maharaja Hari Singh had signed in 1947 in favour of Union of India. He reminded the countrymen that Article 370 was incorporated to keep J&K away from integration by declaring in Article 370, a temporary provision, that Maharaja the then ruler of J&K shall not be disturbed and the Parliament was deprived of its jurisdiction/competence to legislate in respect of even those three subjects that Maharaja Hari Singh had voluntarily offered to Union of India, naturally to the Parliament, while signing the Instrument of Accession in 1947.

Parliament of India had refused to exercise its power

Prof.Bhim Singh reminded the countrymen that they should vote the representatives for the Parliament who shall declare in public that he/she (the candidate) shall ensure that Parliament of India shall be the only sovereign authority in the country to legislate directly in respect of the three subjects namely, Defence, Foreign Affairs and communication. This is a tragedy for the nation that the Parliament of India had refused to exercise its power it was entrusted in the Instrument of Accession as other 575 rulers of other states had entrusted.

Questioned the Parliament of India

Prof.Bhim Singh questioned the Parliament of India for denial of national right to the people of J&K whose ruler had signed the Instrument of Accession like other 575 rulers. Is it true that the Constituent Assembly had not declared integration of J&K with the rest of the country? This question has to be answered and resolved by the Parliament today so that the enemies of India shall be silenced once for all by political means and voice.

He expressed shock on the statement of one of the ex-Chief Ministers of J&K that she declared herself and her party in mainstream with the Hurriyat (separatists) elements shouting against Accession. He expressed surprise on the silence of the present Union Govt. whether they agree with the former Chief Minister of J&K (who was their ally in the government for nearly three years in J&K) that her party & separatists are one in their fight to keep Article 35A intact. What is the issue of Kashmir? What is the issue called ‘Article 35A’? The statement made by former Chief Minister is not only against the spirit of law, decency but also amounts threatening to the national unity and integration in respect of J&K. He also demanded straight reply from all other slogan shouting members of the power hungry men in Kashmir who have been misleading the people of J&K only for the reason that they have lost power and the people of J&K have understood them and tricks of their political trade.

Prof.Bhim Singh has invited/challenged Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti and all others who disagree with him to join him on a public platform anywhere from Kashmir to Kanyakumari so that the people of this country, particularly that of J&K shall understand about our intentions and what needs to be done for the welfare of the people of J&K in particular where they shall live a peaceful, secured and honourable life as free citizens of India.
